McClure United Church Community of Faith Profile

The McClure United Church community of faith has choices to make about its future direction and your input is especially important at this time.

In October 2019, the congregation suspended the search for a third minister and tasked the Board with completing a Community of Faith Profile (COFP)

The COFP includes a strategic plan that lays out a series of actions intended to enable our community of faith to live forward faithfully and sustainably. The full report is posted at https://tinyurl.com/y96hp43w.

As mentioned in the strategic initiatives found in the Community of Faith Profile, the Board also proposed new position profiles for the McClure ministry team. You can view the profiles at https://tinyurl.com/y97utsdc.

The Board intends to vote on the motions arising from the COFP at the Board meeting at the end of May, and to implement decisions effective July 2020 pending approval by the Regional Council. And that is why we want to hear from you. Feedback on any aspect of the COFP document – the analysis and the conclusions – is important.

You are invited to complete our online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/COFP-feedback

The survey should take approximately five minutes of your time. If you have any questions, you may contact any of us by email or telephone. Please get your feedback to us prior to May 25, 2020.

Faithfully yours,
